Modern Ideal / Lyman Round Ball Molds
I buy these whenever I can. I always get a few at every show. Keep checking these listings because I update them whenever I get new stuff. Most Antique Molds are either too valuable to use, or in poor condition.
If you like to shoot, these are a good alternative. I only buy molds that are in nice shape and will cast good, shootable bullets.

This Lyman mold looks brand new. I don't think it has cast a bullet yet. It comes with the original box, no papers.

Thompson- Center round ball mold. This mold look like new. They were made for the Thompson Center Muzzle-loading rifles and pistols which use a cloth patch. Original box and papers. Item # 002

An early Lyman .350 round ball mold with original box. No papers. The mold is sharp and crisp with no sign of being used. Item # 003

An early "Ideal" Marked mold. It still has It's original box and has been used very little. All the edges are sharp and crisp and should cast great round balls. It should be just right for the Colt, 36 caliber, Percussion Revolvers. Item # 004

A later Lyman Marked Mold. It still has the original Box, Instructions and Wrapping Paper. It has been used a little, but has sharp crisp edges and should cast a great bullet. This mold should work with a patched ball, 40 caliber Muzzle-loading Rifle. Item # 005

An early Ideal marked round ball mold. It comes in it's original box. Unusual because it shows no sign of ever being used. Very clean with a sharp mold cavity. .400 diameter. Item # 006

A Lyman marked mold with it's original box, with original wrapping and papers. This mold has been very little. The mold is sharp, with crisp edges all over. It should cast a great round ball.

This mold would be right for a 44 Caliber Rifle using a cloth patched ball. Item # 007

This is an early Ideal marked mold in the classic .451 diameter. These are often used for the 44 caliber percussion pistols by Colt and Remington. It comes with the original box but no papers. The mold cavity is sharp and clean. There are a few light scratches on the top of the mold made by a scribe. ( Venting) but they are not deep at all and this classic mold will still cast a great bullet. Item # 008

This is a nice Lyman marked mold that looks like it has never been used. It comes in it's original box with no papers. The entire mold is excellent with crisp edges that have not been messed with.

This is a brand new condition .690 round ball mold. it is in it's original box with all the papers. A lot of these molds are out of stock from most dealers. All the edges are sharp and clean and all it needs is a cleaning of the preservative to start casting. Item # 013
